Peace Sign Standing Ornament

Peace signs are kind of our thing. We love the way this symbol reminds us to create a soft place in our hearts, and to work to create peace between us, among us, and in the world. Display it at the holidays, or year-round. Made of soapstone.

Soapstone, or kisii stone (named for the region where it is found), is a soft, smooth stone. Artisans in Kenya use a wet-sanding technique to carve these sculptures. Light finish-each sculpture will show its own highlights of the grain of the stone.
