Fused Glass Blue Bird Suncatcher

Hang a beautiful glass bird in your windows and watch the sunlight shimmer through. Made from fused glass, every piece is painted by hand, making the design work as unique as the birds they mimic. The long beaded thread lets your little bird freely "fly" in the breeze. This cooperative started as a collaboration in 1996, with Chilean traditions and nature as inspiration. Using window glass and recycled bottles, the glass is cut to size, painted by hand, then fired in 1500 degree ovens.
