Soapstone Animal napkin rings

Every proper gathering deserves to be graced by the beauty of the great Safari animals of Africa. Bless your table with a napkin ring, each a different animal. Soapstone, or kisii stone (named for the region where it is found), is a soft, smooth stone. Artisans in Kenya use a wet-sanding technique to carve these napkin rings, dye them with natural dyes, then etch the design using simple hand tools. Animals measure 3/3.5" long X 3-4" high.
