A calavera or sugar skull is a representation of a human skull.
Sugar skulls represent a departed soul and are placed on the home ofrenda (offering place) or gravestone to honor the return of a particular spirit.
Remembering our loved ones who have passed as well as our ancestors, offers humanity back into our minds and hearts. Sugar skulls can be joyful and celebratory. We hope you will join us in this creative expression of life.
