Need to get outside and enjoy spring? Want to try your hand at painting a natural clay birdhouse who might talk to you as you paint?
When we opened World Peaces in late October, 2020, we knew the world
wasn’t ready for workshops, but we wanted to be ready when the time
came, and it’s (safely, socially distanced, vaccinated and masked) HERE!
We will be offering workshops for making a variety of Fair Trade inspired,
recycled, upcycled, and handmade items. All our workshops will be led
by fully vaccinated instructors. Cortney Cotts, World Peaces Operations
Manager, is our House Instructor, and we’ll be offering opportunities for Guest Instructors down the line.
Our first workshop features the tree sprite birdhouse. Handcrafted of Volta River Clay in Ghana, at Matamiss’ workshop. You will have the opportunity to paint your own birdhouse, with as much guidance as you like, but more importantly, a happy place to rest, talk or just be in community.
$25 includes the birdhouse, painting and finishing supplies.
May 29, 1pm-2pm. Limited spaces available. If sold out, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the waitlist or to be advised of additional dates.
